Olympic cross-country skiing champion Alexander Legkov injured his elbow while riding a BMX bike in Kazan, host Ilya Trifanov told ‘s All for the Match program.
The athlete tested the site for extreme sports in the capital of Tatarstan.
According to Trifanov, Legkov has bursitis in the elbow joint, the skier has undergone surgery and is feeling fine. Alexander posted a photo of his bandaged hand on social media.
Legkov took part in a tour in support of the forum “Russia – a sports power”.
