“I don’t have a draft age, but if I get it, I’ll go” – Trefilov on mobilization

Honored coach of Russia in handball Yevgeny Trefilov told that not all those mobilized could be of use, adding that he would go to defend the country if he came of age.

– The homeland must be protected and loved, without options. But each person should be considered separately, to think, maybe it would be more useful here. I sent my military ID card, if I was younger, I would go and fight for my grandson (smile). My age is indefensible, but if it’s fair, then I’ll go.

I know those who have already been taken away, some have been sent back, because there are full reserves. I haven’t heard from handball clubs that someone has been called, if there was such a thing I would know about it,” Trefilov told .

Earlier on Friday, one of the leaders of the sports federation told that the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation was collecting lists of candidates for Russian national teams, the nearest reserve and coaching staff. to constitute a register of persons not subject to mobilization.
