Women’s national handball team of Ukraine beat Slovakia in a test match

The teams will play a replay on Saturday.

Women’s team Ukraine won in handball Slovakia in the control fight in the Slovak Michalovce – 30:29.

The Ukrainians went to the break with a margin of three goals. In the second half, Slovakia reduced the gap to a minimum, but Vitaly Andronov’s team kept the victory. Irina Glibko (5 goals) became the most productive among the Ukrainians.

The Ukrainian national team is holding a training camp in Slovakia, preparing for the qualifying matches for the 2023 World Cup. On Saturday, October 1, Andronov’s team will play the second control match with the Slovaks, already in the city of Vranov nad Topleu.

At the first stage of qualification for the 2023 World Cup, Ukrainians will play against Luxembourg. Both fights will take place in Luxembourg on 1 and 2 November.
