Athletistic/ Figure Skating. As previously reported, Russian figure skaters Tiffany Zagorsky and Jonathan Gureiro have decided to put their competitive careers on hold.
Ilya Averbukh, an Olympic Games silver medalist in ice dancing, has already reacted to the athletes’ decision.
– It seems to me that this is quite a reasonable decision. Also, Tiffany skated at the last tournament, when she was very sick, the guys barely reached the program. Of course, it will be very, very difficult to get back into our top three, but, as they say, nothing is impossible,” Averbukh said as quoted by TASS.
