This year’s London Marathon ended in tragedy. According to the organizers of the competition, which took place on September 2, one of the participants lost consciousness 5 km before the finish line and later died in the hospital.
The name of the deceased has not been released. It was only learned that he was 36 years old and lived in the south east of England.
It is known that the victim immediately received medical help, after three minutes the ambulance arrived at the scene and took the man to the hospital, but he could not be saved. The cause of death will be known after the medical examination.
