Candidate lists for the Russian National Figure Skating Team before publication on the website of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) refer to inside information, in accordance with the provision on confidential information of the FFKKR.
The regulations are published on the website of the federation, which also approved the code of ethics, the document contains general rules of conduct and principles of professional ethics, including for athletes and coaches. The document dated September 26 was signed by FFKKR President Alexander Gorshkov.
Inside information includes in particular:
– the content of correspondence, telephone conversations, postal, telegraphic, telephone and other dispatches;
– the lists of the candidates of the national teams of Russia for the participation in the official competitions before their official publication on the Internet site of the FFKKR;
– a draft unified calendar plan before its official publication on the FFKKR website;
– the composition of the referee teams before their official publication on the FFKKR website;
– the content of the athletes’ individual training plans before their official publication;
– organization of interactions with law enforcement and other government agencies at joint events;
– information on the facts of holding, the objectives, the object and the results of the meetings and meetings of the management bodies of the FFKKR before their official publication on the website of the FFKKR.
In addition, medical information (about injuries, examinations, treatment methods, medical clearance) about athletes, coaches, sports judges, specialists, FFKKR apparatus employees and other persons are considered inside information.
The document notes that inside information (as well as personal data) is classified as confidential information.
The section “Responsibility for disclosing confidential information” states that in case of violation of the terms of the FFKKR non-disclosure agreement (confidentiality agreement), the violator is obliged to pay a fine of 100,000 rubles to the federation.
