Russian figure skating coaches are prohibited from negotiating the transfer of athletes and changing sport citizenship, stems from the new code of ethics published by the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR).
In the article “Basic Rules of Behavior for Coaches” it is said, among other things:
– the coach does not have the right to negotiate with representatives of sports clubs and national federations of other countries on the transfer of athletes and the change of sports citizenship.
If representatives of sports clubs and national federations of other countries contact the coach about the transition of athletes, the coach is obliged to inform the FFKKR apparatus.
– Heads of regional federations and other physical culture and sports organizations do not have the right to negotiate with athletes of other organizations a transfer proposal or to conduct conversations that could be interpreted as transfer proposals, – the code note in article “Basic Rules of Conduct for Officials, Governing Organizations and Other Professionals.”
