The FFKKR’s code of ethics in the event of violation provides for sanctions in the form of public apologies, suspension and cancellation of the results

The Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) has announced disciplinary measures for violating the organization’s code of ethics.

According to the code, all representatives of the professional figure skating community who have violated it may be subject to action in the form of:

– warnings;

– reprimand with publication on the FFKKR website;

– the obligation to present a public apology;

– the imposition of a fine;

– cancellation of the competition result;

– prohibition – temporary or permanent;

— the ban on occupying managerial positions in the FFKKR system;

– exclusion of Russian national teams in figure skating, as well as the list of FFKKR officials for the coming season;

– suspension of service competitions;

– a ban on attending events and competitions organized under the aegis of the FFKKR.

Irina Raber has been appointed president of the FFKKR’s ethics commission. The commission also included: Yulia Andreeva, Alexander Kogan, Sergey Kononykhin, Anton Sikharulidze, Alexei Tikhonov, Vera Tkalina, Elena Chaikovskaya and Alla Shekhovtsova.
