Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) on the official website announced the composition of the members of the organization’s ethics commission.
The former president of the Moscow Figure Skating Federation, Irina Raber, was appointed chair of the commission. The commission also included: Yulia Andreeva, Alexander Kogan, Sergey Kononykhin, Anton Sikharulidze, Alexei Tikhonov, Vera Tkalina, Elena Chaikovskaya and Alla Shekhovtsova.
Earlier, the FFKKR announced the creation of a code of ethics – a set of general principles of professional ethics and basic rules for the professional conduct of people who make up the professional figure skating community.
In March, due to the situation in Ukraine, Russian athletes were suspended from participating in international competitions under the auspices of the International Skating Union (ISU) until further notice.
