The International Ski Federation (FIS) has retained quotas for athletes from the Russian Federation to participate in the Cross-Country World Cup in the 2022/23 season, reported on the official website of the organization .
Russia now has six base quotas for men and women, and World Cup and Continental Cup winners have personal quotas. These quotas were earned based on the performance results of the athletes last year.
Russian athletes can no longer participate in tournaments under the auspices of the FIS due to a suspension.
Earlier, Russian Ski Racing Federation President Elena Vyalbe told that the decision on admitting Russians to international competitions will be taken by FIS in October.
