According to the Figure Skating Online Telegram channel, Zagitova is tired of listening to criticism related to her pronunciation. Many believe that the skater does not grow professionally as a TV presenter, and Alina was very hurt by this. Zagitova quarreled with Shcherbakova and intends to quit the Ice Age and then focus on her studies at university.
Recall that Zagitova hosts the Ice Age show for the third year in a row. In the new season, Anna Shcherbakova, champion of the Beijing Olympics in 2012, was added to the leading pair Zagitova-Yagudin.
Zagitova suspended her career in December 2019.
