According to the Telegram channel “Figure all year round”, the athlete was hurt by criticism that she did not have the “Moscow diction”. Zagitova then had to apologize for not being born in the capital of Russia, so she has to work on her speech.
According to the source, Zagitova will leave the project. If that happens, the Ice Age show will be hosted by Alexei Yagudin and Anna Shcherbakova.
Recall that Zagitova is Olympic champion, world and European champion. The figure skater suspended her career in December 2019.
