Figure skating coach Sergei Dobroskokov called “” the reason for parting with a sports couple Daria Pavlyuchenko / Denis Khodykin and also spoke about the perspectives of current students.

In July, it became known that European Championship bronze medalists Pavlyuchenko and Khodykin were no longer training with Dobroskokov. The couple moved to Sergei Roslyakov. Last season they won silver at two Grand Prix stages and also became fourth in the Russian Championship.

— How do you rate the performance of your students at the Panin-Kolomenkin Memorial?

– Juniors Varvara Cheremnykh and Daniil Butenko came from the ship to the ball. They recently took part in trial skates in Novogorsk. There was a heavy workload, daily expenses, communication with specialists. They are great: they coped, and here they skated almost to the max.

Natasha Khabibullina and Ilya Knyazhuk get into shape. The transition to the adult level is not as quick and easy as I thought. But we try. They have good jumping content, we will work a bit with stamina,” Dobroskokov told .

– What complex elements do the guys study?

– They plan to pop a triple lutz, salchow. Vari and Dani will have two junior Grand Prix stages, then they will compete as seniors. We want to ally, once the federation allows it.

– Will your students take part in the show tournament?

— An interesting project, we should think about it. After all, there will always be a stage for jumps and broadcasts. I think I’ll put my two pairs. Their jumps are correct.

– Why did Daria and Denis, as well as Roslyakov, leave?

– First of all, we received the titles of “Honored Coach”. Serezha has long wanted to start her own group. It has to be some sort of strong couple. Well, we have decided. We sat and talked together.

Second, we asked Dasha and Denis, “We’ve been working together for so long. Who do you want to continue with?”. They say: “Sergey Sergeevich is more creative with us.” The guys are not going to complicate the technique. And I am a technician by nature, always for the new. Dasha and Denis just want to climb on horseback, learn about acrobatics.In general, they are all creative: visits, new rotations.

– I have such a surname – I try to wear well. Sergei, Dasha and Denis and I decided everything amicably. We communicate, I support them, I worry. After all, we raised them from scratch, the guys are very good. They had a period where they wanted to end, but now everything is fine. The time has come for a person to grow up, to feel like the main boss.
