Tyson will name his next opponent in the coming days
WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury commented on the desire of the ex-world champion Andy Ruiz become the next rival of the British.
“Looks like you’ll be fighting in the finals to fight me,” Fury tweeted.
Tyson responded to Ruiz’s post on social media, where he posted an announcement of their possible fight with the words “My time will come.”
Before the end of this week, Fury will announce the name of his next opponent. The fight will take place on December 3 in Cardiff.
Tyson was supposed to fight with Briton Anthony Joshua, but the parties failed to agree on the terms and sign a contract for the fight. Fury’s side says that AJ’s promoter Eddie Hearn is to blame for the disruption of the fight.
Tyson’s father, John Fury, said his son is considering three candidates to replace Joshua: Filip Hrgovic, Andy Ruiz and Luis Ortiz.
Recall that in September, Ruiz defeated Luis Ortiz by unanimous decision. At the same time, Andy knocked down the opponent three times.
