European champion Sofia Samodurova in a conversation with a correspondent, she told about her participation in the staging of a free program for 12-year-old figure skater Agata Petrova.
Petrova took second place in the CCM category at the Panin-Kolomenkin Memorial, which took place from October 5 to 8 in St. Petersburg.
How do you rate your student’s performance?
– Agatha showed her strong and combative character. The whole coaching staff is happy with her. I hope she continues to perform as well in these competitions.
– What role do you fulfill working with Agatha?
– I put Agatha in a free program this season. I participate in productions, program development, work on jumps and pirouettes. I try to do everything.
– Agata managed to take second place without quads. Will quads be part of his arsenal in the future?
— We are working on a quadruple sheepskin coat, the item is still in development. Sometimes good attempts are made. But we do not make loud statements in this regard.
– How do you like Agatha’s rival Alisa Dvoeglazova?
— The girl is good, very technical. All of us, our coaching staff, came to congratulate her. Well deserved first place.
