“I am happy to have found a permanent team in St. Petersburg.” Agneta Latushkina won’t be so lonely kicking after performances anymore

14-year-old single skater Agneta Latushkina made her debut at the Panin-Kolomenkin memorial yesterday. This is his first senior start at the federal level.

The figure skater captivated the audience at the beginning of last year – when she qualified for the junior championship of Russia, speaking for the little-known (in sports terms) Republic of Mari El. of the girl for the fact that she was training alone. She did not have a permanent mentor for a long time – only sometimes Agneta came to training camps with Viktor and Marina Kudryavtsev. Since last year, the talented figure skater has been training in the group of Yevgeny Rukavitsyn. After Agneta’s performance in the short program “”, I learned from her the details of a new life.

– How and when was your transition to Evgeny Rukavitsyn’s band?

– Last summer, at the height of the low season, Viktor Nikolaevich Kudryavtsev advised my mother and I to come here for a visit. Viktor Nikolayevich himself does not have a permanent group. He advises, and sometimes I came to him and Marina Grigoryevna for training camps, sent videos of my elements and skates. The coaches were very helpful, but at the same time they wanted me to find permanent mentors. And so I came to the academy for a screening, they immediately took me away. Soon the whole family moved to St. Petersburg.

– What is your training program?

– I train six times a week. Almost every day there are two training sessions on ice (morning and evening), choreography, warm-up with rotations, special physical preparation. There are two half-days where only ice training and physical training (general or special).

– You no longer need to go to mass skating sessions with such a busy life.

“Fortunately, yes. I really like today’s program and I’m happy to have found a permanent team here.

– On Thursday, Roman Usatov took you to the ice. How involved are other team members in your training?

– Roman Alexandrovich is my direct coach, as well as Maria Eduardovna Artemyeva. They lead our younger group, but we often cross paths with the older ones. After all, we have two ice creams. Evgeny Vladimirovich comes to every training session and works with everyone, including me.

What content do you have this season? After all, you’ve already tried quadruple jumps and complex stunts.

– Now I have basic triple jumps, and they decided not to insert complex elements into the program for now in order to play calmly and qualify me for the big tournaments. The stages of the “Russian Cup”, for example. In general, the bet on the cleanliness of the rental.

– Do you have any favorite items?

Tell us about the wonderful music in your short program.

– I chose this song myself – “Merry-Go-Round of Life” performed by the Mononoke Ensemble. I remember we decided to change the program and the coaches asked me what my wishes were. I turned on the music that I had loved for a long time. Everyone immediately approved, arranged, and this is the final version. With pleasure I ride on the music that rested on my soul.

Are you satisfied with today’s performance?

– Of course, I want to improve the towers so that they all reach the fourth level. The track also needs to be refined, the stunt needs to be finalized. And so, I’m happy with the flip and the axel.

– You once said that you admire Elizabeth Tuktamysheva. How do you find its location?

– I watched live with pleasure. I’m glad I had time, because I had to skate in a different warm-up, and there was just enough time to tune into my program. I like Lisa! I want a long career like his. It seems to me that every skater dreams of this – calmly, without injuries, create on the ice so that a real story unfolds.

– In which tournaments will we see you now?

– At the end of October, the second stage of the St. Petersburg Cup will take place here. I intend to speak, and then we will review the situation. Maybe I’ll go to the Grand Prix stages.
