Robert Garcia: Lomachenko could have beaten Kambosos twice, but his decision must be respected

The specialist supported the Ukrainian in the fight against the Russian occupiers.

American coach Robert Garcia spoke about the fact that Vasily Lomachenko refused to fight George Kambosos, because he was protecting Ukraine from the Russian Federation.

According to experts, the Ukrainian boxer deserves support.

“As far as we understand, Lomachenko was supposed to fight Kambosos. Then, naturally, he left for Ukraine because of what was happening in Russia.”

“We have to respect Lomachenko for doing so, because I think he would have beaten Kambosos. He would have lost even in Australia and even twice if they had agreed on two games, which made the same deal as Haney. But Lomachenko decided to stay in Ukraine, and for that we should applaud him and respect his decision, ”Robert Garcia said in his podcast.

It will be recalled that Kambosos will fight Haney in June.
