The Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR) and the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) have signed a cooperation agreement in the field of anti-doping.
“I am a person who is categorically against anti-doping rule violations. An athlete, in essence, is an example for the younger generation, who should inspire children with his achievements. And doping is deception, pure fraud. It causes incredible damage to an athlete’s reputation, undermining the trust of those around them. Anti-doping rule violations demotivate young athletes and disappoint them in the heroes they once believed in,” said FLGR President Elena Vyalbe, quoted by the RUSADA press service.
RUSADA and FLGR discussed the schedule of anti-doping education activities for the end of 2022. FLGR’s anti-doping support managers — Roman Erlikhman and Daria Duginets — have been certified by RUSADA, allowing them to conduct educational and anti-doping education program for FLGR athletes.
