American heavyweight Deontay Wilder shared his opinion about the champion of his weight category according to WBA, WBO and IBF Alexander Usik.
According to Deontey, he liked the way the Ukrainian performed in the first heavyweight division.
“I liked Usyk better at cruiserweight because of his movements and some other things. As a heavyweight he’s also good, but he’s better in the cruiserweight division. But that’s just my opinion.”

“I respect Usyk as a fighter and a person. I hear a lot of good things about him. I have never heard any negative statements about him, so I can only judge Usyk from the good side. I have only positive impressions about him. When he’s ready, I won’t waste any more time,” Wilder told Boxing News 24.
It was previously reported that Andy Ruiz included Usyk in the list of desirable opponents.
