Her competitors are Nigerian Toby Amusan (100 meters hurdles), Jamaican sprinters Shelly-Ann Fraser-Price and Sherika Jackson, Americans Chase Ealy (shot put) and Sidney McLaughlin (400 meters), Peruvian Kimberly Garcia (walking) , the Kenyan Fait Kipyegon (1500m), Yulimar Rojas (Venezuela, triple jump) and Shona Miller-Uibo (Bahamas, 400m).
Representatives of World Athletics will vote by e-mail, fans – on social networks. Closing of votes at midnight on Monday 31 October.
