The Ukrainian team continues their successful march to the Deaflympiad-2021 in Brazil. On the tenth day of the Games, our athletes won seven medals, bringing their number to 110. This is the third result in the history of competitions for hearing -impaired athletes.
The Ukrainians repeated the figure of the US team, which finished the 1981 Deaflympiad with 110 medals, and surpassed the figure of the same team at the 1985 Games, which were completed by the Americans with 109 medals.
According to the results of the tenth day of the competition, Ukraine replaced its awards with one gold, one silver and five bronze medals.

gold: wrestling – Roman Yashchenko (Greco -Roman wrestling, 82 kg)
silver: table tennis – Karina Zavinovskaya (table tennis)
Brass: badminton – Bogdana Gubaneva / Sofia Chernomorova (women, team), wrestling – Vitaly Butenko (Greco -Roman wrestling, 60 kg), Andrey Kosov (Greco -Roman wrestling, 97 kg), ball shooting – Alexander Kostik (small -caliber) 50 meters, three positions), table tennis – Roksolana Budnik (women).
