Athletistic/ Others. As previously reported, gymnast Mariya Paseka at the award ceremony at the international sports film festival “KRASNOGORSKI” did not correctly pronounce the name of the film that won one of the presented nominations.
One of the first to react to the embarrassment of the athlete’s participation was popular commentator Dmitry Guberniev.
– Maria Paseka does not work as a TV presenter. She is an athlete who, as far as I know, is going to become a coach, so she is forgiven in this situation. It’s okay, I carefully corrected, as I would correct absolutely anyone. This is an absolutely normal situation for everyone: for me, and for Apiary, and for Zagitova, and for you,” Guberniev reasonably noted, as quoted by Sport24.
