Evil Geniuses won Group A ahead of schedule, Royal Never Give Up problems
On October 17, matches of the third game day of the group stage took place in Singapore The International 2022 – the main tournament of the year Dota 2.
Evil Geniuses won three of today’s matches and guaranteed themselves the first place in Group A. Group B was led by Tundra Esports.
Note that four out of five Royal Never Give Up players have tested positive for COVID-19. Today, the Chinese team, which led Group A after the second day, suffered three defeats.
The International 2022 group stage will end on October 18th. The four best teams from each group will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, and the teams that take 5-8th places will go to the lower bracket.
The TI 2022 playoffs will take place October 20-30. The current winner of The International is Team Spirit.
