On Tuesday, October 18, a live online video broadcast of the official draw ceremony for Euro 2023 U-21 will be available on the UEFA website. Also, the draw ceremony for Euro 2023 U-21 will be broadcast live online on Suspіlna Sport.
The Euro 2023 U-21 qualifying draw ceremony will also be available online at the Sport Arena.
The final tournament of Euro 2023 U-21 will feature 16 national teams, including the youth team of Ukraine. Blue-yellows got into the fourth pot during the draw.
Based on the results of the Euro 2023 U-21 draw, 4 groups of four teams will be formed. The top two teams from each quartet will advance to the quarter-finals. Euro 2023 U-21 will take place from 21 June to 8 July next year in Romania and Georgia.
Ukraine will play at the European Championship for the third time in its history. In 2011, the blue-and-yellows, led by Pavel Yakovenko, finished last in the group. At the 2006 European Championship, under the leadership of Alexei Mikhailichenko, the youth team reached the final, where they lost to the Netherlands (0:3).
