Valeria Yezhova continues to raise money to help Ukrainian defenders.
Valeria Yezhova never stops collecting money to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the KSCA’s Department of Public Communications, the 11-year-old world champion in drafts will hold another charity tournament.
“This Friday, Vcentri Hub: Shevchenkovskiy will host a charity checkers tournament in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine!
The young volunteer will play against seven opponents at the same time. The session will also be attended by an analyst and consultant, international grandmaster, world, European and Ukrainian champion Felix Shepel. From him, everyone will receive master classes after the game with Valeria and understand the mistakes made,” it was written on the department’s page on the social network.
The contest with the girl will take place at 15:00 on October 21 at Vcentri Hub: Shevchenkovskiy (Vladimirskaya St., 51-B).
It should be noted that thanks to her ability to play checkers, Valeria Yezhova has already collected 84,000 hryvnias for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For the sake of helping the army, an 11-year-old girl first played checkers with passers-by on the street.
