At the first stage of the Russian Grand Prix in Figure Skating in Moscow, the strongest duets among junior pairs and ice dancing were determined.
On Wednesday, the skaters presented a free dance and a free program respectively. Among the dancers, Muscovites Sofya Leontyeva and Daniil Gorelkin showed the best result, scoring 69.63 points for hire. They also became the stage winners – 174.07 points.
Moscow representatives Vasilisa Grigorieva and Evgeniy Artyushchenko (158.67) are also second in the stage protocol, fellow Muscovites Arina Gorshenina and Ilya Makarov (145.03) have bronze.
In pair skating, figure skaters from the Perm Territory Ekaterina Chikmareva and Matvey Yanchenkov won the stage, scoring 205.80 points in two programs. Second and third places were taken by the Petersburgers: Maria Dybkova and Alexei Khvalko (182.35) won silver, Maya Shegai and Igor Shamshurov (178.19) won bronze.
Also on Wednesday, as part of the stage, girls and boys will present short programs.
