sport.Fr/Figure skating. Match TV announced the transfer of Russian-Finnish figure skater Alisa Efimova to the German national team.
The athlete will continue to team up with German figure skater Ruben Blommaert, with whom she has been working since September 2020. The duo have been training in Oberstdorf in the group of Florian Hust and Alexander König for a year and a half.
“We have already started training, preparing for the season. In the fall we will finally be able to play for Germany in international tournaments,” Match TV Efimova quotes.
The figure skater was born and raised in Finland in a Russian-speaking family and has represented the country in individual skating. Since 2014, Efimova moved to Moscow, where she teamed up with Alexander Korovin and won the Universiade. The duo broke up in early 2020.
