Figure skater Yegor Murashov is awaiting the decision of the International Skating Union (ISU) on permission to skate for the Swiss national team, his coach Victoria Butsaeva has said.
– So far, he doesn’t have permission from ISU to play for Switzerland, how it will continue, while nobody knows, and nobody knows when there will be an agreement on this issue. He is waiting for the ISU decision until he has finished figure skating, Butsaeva told .
Murashov, who turned 22 in May, has announced his intention to play for Switzerland ahead of the 2021/22 season. The figure skater already played in the championship of this country in 2022 and became a silver medalist.
