Dnieper beat Legion in the last match of the game day Ukrainian ice hockey championship – 2:1.
The team of Albert Shafikov, who were nominal guests at their arena in Kalush, had the opportunity to take the lead in the first period. However, the gate of the Dnieper was saved by a barbell.
Nevertheless, Legion still opened the scoring in the second 20-minute period. Immediately after the break, Ruslan Romashchenko scored.
Only after a missed goal, Alexander Bobkin’s wards began to play more actively. The decisive contribution was made by Artem Tselogorodtsev. First, the best scorer of the Dnieper converted the majority, and then made the Legion defender make a mistake at his own goal.
Dnepr scored 18 points and caught up with Sokol. It is noteworthy that Bobrov’s team won three out of six victories against the Legion. Shafikov’s wards have 6 points and fourth place.
The next matches Dnepr and Legion will take turns against Kremenchug. On November 2, Bobkin’s team will play with the leader of the championship, on November 3 – Shafikov’s wards.
