Athletistic / Chess. Russian grandmaster Ian Nepomniachtchi has reached the final of the World Fisher Chess Championship. In the semi-finals, the Russian beat the Norwegian Magnus Carlsen. The tournament takes place in Reykjavik (Iceland).

Nepomniachtchi won three of the four matches in the semi-finals. At the same time, in a lost game, Jan could save a draw.
Notably, Nepomniachtchi and Carlsen disputed the world chess crown in classical chess in 2021. Then the Norwegian grandmaster won.
