The decisive game in the group stage for the Pitmen will take place on November 2
Miner continues preparations for the match of the 6th round of the Champions League group stage with Leipzig.
Today the team held a training session on the field of the Legia training center in Warsaw. The session began with a warm-up and work in the gym, and continued with relay exercises on the football field.
Tomorrow, on November 1, the Pitmen will have an open training session. A traditional press conference is also planned with the participation of head coach Igor Jovicevich and one of the Pitmen’s players.
In the last round of the Champions League, Shakhtar drew with Celtic (1:1). The Pitmen are third in Group F with six points.
In the final round of the Champions League, Jovićević’s team will play against Leipzig on November 2. The game starts at 19:45 Kyiv time.
The match will be served by a team of referees from England led by Michael Oliver. To reach the playoffs of the Champions League, the Pitmen will only be satisfied with a victory.
