The score is equal – 1:1, the third game will take place on November 4
Ukrainian chess player Anna Muzychuk played a draw in the second game of the semi-final Candidates Tournament.
In the second meeting with Lei Tingjie Anna played with black pieces. The position on the board was repeated several times, and on the 28th move the chess players agreed to a draw.
The first game also ended in a draw, the score in the match – 1:1. Then on November 3 at the tournament – a day of rest, the third and fourth games will be held on November 4 and 5.
In the 1/4 finals of the Candidates Tournament, Anna defeated Koneru Gumpy (4.5:3.5), and Lei defeated Maria Muzychuk (2.5:1.5).
Recall that the Chinese Ju Wenjun has been the world champion since 2018. The match between Ju Wenjun and the winner of the Candidates Tournament will take place in the summer of 2023.
