The second defeat of the Ukrainian team in the European Cup
Zaporozhye Motor lost in the second round European league. The Ukrainian team in Dusseldorf lost to the Danish Skanderborg Aarhus.
The motor went on a long break, losing five goals in the score – 16:21. After the break, the Zaporozhye team reduced the gap to two goals, but the representative of Ukraine was not enough for more. Skanderborg Aarhus made another breakthrough and got a confident victory – 37:31.
This is Motor’s second defeat in the European League. In the first round, the Ukrainian team lost to Fuchse Berlin – 27:38.
In the next round of group D, Motor will play against the Spanish Irun. The match will take place on November 22.
Recall that all participating teams in the European League are divided into four subgroups of six clubs. The top 4 teams from each group will advance to the playoff zone.
