On Wednesday, it became known that Deputy Roman Teryushkov and Senator Eduard Isakov had submitted a bill to the State Duma to cancel recognition of CAS decisions by Russian sports federations. To this end, it is proposed to cancel Article 36.4 of the Federal Law “On physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation”.
“We have to solve the main task now, it lies in the very possibility of performing at the Olympics and returning to the international stage,” Salnikov told . – If this task remains, then before removing individual links from the chain, and CAS is part of the global sports system, you need to properly assess what each of these steps can lead to.
