Athletistic/ Figure Skating. On May 18, the famous Russian figure skater Alina Zagitova celebrates her 20th birthday.
Zagitova’s track record includes Pyeongchang-2018 Olympics gold in single skating, Olympics-2018 silver medal in team figure skating competitions, victory at the 2018 European Championship and the world 2019 in single skating.
In 2020, Alina suspended her sports career, and since then she has not participated in official competitions, despite the fact that the end of Zagitova’s career has not been officially announced.
She hosted the 7th and 8th seasons of the TV show “Ice Age” in tandem with Alexei Yagudin. Alina was also a journalist for Channel One during the 2021 Russian Figure Skating Championships in St. Petersburg and a correspondent for the same channel at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing.
