Kovalevskiy club ended in a draw with Dynamo
Kolos head coach Yaroslav Vishnyak after a draw with Dynamo (0:0) in the 13th round, the UPL stressed that he was pleased with the result of the game, some of which his team played in the majority.
“The fighting game is out. I am pleased that in such a difficult match for us, we got one credit. Therefore, I am pleased with the result. I saw that the guys wanted to run out on the attack and counterattack, but, apparently, they were a little confused after the opponent was sent off. And they could not bring one or two attacks to their logical conclusion – a shot on goal and a goal scored. Instead, they began to play it safe, play through the defenders and the goalkeeper. Maybe it’s psychology.”
“As for the content of the game, we gave up the initiative, played on the counterattacks and waited for our chance on interceptions and quick transitions from defense to attack. We planned that the game would develop in this way and prepared for it.
“As for the result … Now such football that in every round there are unexpected results. Therefore, I don’t even know how I would react if they told me before the match that we would draw. Didn’t think about it. Considering the course of the game and the fact that Dynamo created better chances, I am satisfied with this test score.”
Kolos is on the seventh line in the UPL standings. In the next round, Vishnyak’s team will face Vorskla on November 19.
