Double Olympic swimming champion Yevgeny Rylov told that his coach Andrey Shishin is fully involved in the work and will decide on the athlete’s performance at the Russian Cup.
Shishin led Rylov to bronze at the 2016 Olympics in Rio and two golds at the 2020 Games in Tokyo, and after that he consulted with the swimmer mostly from distance.
– They promise the first stage of the Russian Cup in Sakhalin. Would you like to perform there?
– So far we have only been to Vladivostok for a training camp. Before the Olympics, I got there later than usual. It wasn’t all bad there, but we sat there a bit longer than necessary. I felt there was an acclimatization to Tokyo. I’m an adaptive person, but that’s far from everyone,” Rylov told .
