Double Olympic champion Yevgeny Rylov I set myself a “troika” for my performance at the Russian Short Course Swimming Championship in Kazan.
Rylov won on the last day of the tournament, which was held as part of the Friendship Games, at a distance of 200 meters on his back.
– How do you assess the performance results?
“Probably a three,” Rylov told reporters. I thought it would be a little better. Many did not work.
– Will you have time to get in shape for the Salnikov Cup?
‘Three more weeks, but it’s hard for me to answer that question. The load was increased before the Russian championship, so the body may need more time.
– There were a lot of records at this Russian championship. How can you explain it?
– There is no magic, it’s just practice.
– Everything was fine in terms of health before this Russian championship?
I was not sick, everything was fine.
