Russian National Synchronized Swimming Team Recognized as Best Team in 2021 in Silver Doe Award

Russian team in synchronized swimming was recognized as the top team in 2021 as part of the Silver Doe award.

On Friday, in the building of the Russian Olympic Committee, the winners of the Silver Doe-2021 prize of the Federation of Sports Journalists of Russia (FSJR) are awarded. The awards ceremony was originally scheduled for early 2022, but was postponed to November.

Russian synchronized swimmers won gold medals at the Tokyo Olympics in duet and group competitions.

– It’s very nice that such events take place now, it’s very important for Russian sport. In our time, there are not enough such communications and meetings. Thank you very much for this award! An athlete cannot be without a coach, thanks to Tatyana Pokrovskaya, Tatyana Danchenko and all our other coaches. I’m sure our results will continue to be the same as before,” she said. As part of the celebration of the winners of this award, prizes are awarded to the top ten athletes, coach and team of the year based on the results of the traditional FSWR poll.
