Alvaro scores again after coming on as a substitute
Spain striker Alvaro Morata recognized best player match against Germany (1:1) in the second round of the group stage World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
Morata started the match on the bench and entered the field in 56th instead of Ferran Torres. And already in the 62nd minute, the 30-year-old striker put Spain ahead.
This is Morata’s second goal at the 2022 World Cup. In the first round, Alvaro also managed to excel, scoring the seventh goal against Costa Rica. Morata became the first Spanish international to score in two consecutive matches since coming on as a World Cup substitute.
In total, Morata spent 59 fights for the national team. The ball against Manuel Neuer was the 29th for Alvaro in his international career.
After two rounds played, the Spanish national team is in the lead in its group, it has four points. In the final match of the group round, the team of Luis Enrique will play with Japan.
