Ghana midfielder Kudus is the second-youngest African scorer in the World Cup

Midfielder Ajax is 22 years and 118 days old

Midfielder of Ghana Mohammed Kudus became the second youngest African player to score a double in a match world championship.

Midfielder Ajax scored two goals in a duel with South Korea (3:2). On the day of the match, Kudus turned 22 years and 118 days old. Nigerian Ahmed Musa remains the youngest African double scorer at the age of 21 years and 254 days in 2014 against Argentina.

Kudus made 20 appearances for the Ghana national team. After the duel with the Koreans, he scored 7 goals in the national team jersey.

Ghana have secured three points to move up to second place in Quartet H. In the final round of the group stage, the Black Stars will face Uruguay on 2 December.
