Ukrainian Bolyukh won a gold medal at the 2022 Junior World Championships in diving

Fourth place was taken by another Ukrainian – Kirill Azarov

Ukrainian athlete Kirill Bolyukh took first place at the 2022 World Junior Diving Championships, which takes place in Montreal, Canada.

15-year-old Bolyukh successfully competed in the three-meter springboard in category B – 14-16 years old. Bolyukh’s best jump was the first attempt, in which Kirill received 67.5 points.

The total amount of the Ukrainian was 439.25 points. Bolyukh was 17 points ahead of Canada’s Arnaud Corbeil, who finished second, and 25 points ahead of Italian bronze medalist Valerio Mosca.

Another Ukrainian competed in the final – Kirill Azarov. In the final attempt, he scored 63 points and finished in fourth place.

Recall that in August Bolyukh successfully performed in Rome at the European Championships in water sports. Together with Alexei Sereda, Kirill became the silver medalist in men’s synchronized diving from the 10-meter platform. In addition, on his account – silver in the team mixed.
