The Ukrainian, along with the German Geisen, beat the duet Ponche / Vorachova
Ukrainian tennis player Hope Kichenok paired with Vivian Geisen from Germany reached the semi-finals of the doubles tournament WTA 125 in Andorra.
The duo defeated a pair of Jessica Ponchet/Renata Voracova (France/Czech Republic) in three sets. The first batch was left for Kichenok and Geizen. However, in the second set, Ponche and Voracova managed to snatch victory. At the super tie-break, Kichenok and Geizen seized the advantage from the start and brought the match to victory.
In the next fight, Nadezhda and Vivian will face the winners of the match between top seeded Sophie Chang (USA) and Zhang Shuai (China) against Kristina Buksa (Spain) and Veronika Falkowska (Poland). The semi-final matches are scheduled for December 2. The final will take place on December 3rd.
Nadezhda Kichenok paired with Anna-Lena Friedsam from Germany reached the final of the Challenger in Middleland (USA). It was the second Ukrainian final this year: together with her sister Lyudmila, she won the WTA 250 competition in Tallinn.
