Ukrainian cyclist Elena Starikova won the sprint at the fourth stage Champions League on the trackwhich took place in London.
In the final duel, the Ukrainian defeated the world champion Matilda Gro. Elena passed the finish line at a speed of 63.4 km/h and outstripped the Frenchwoman by a wheel distance.
Starikova wins the Champions League stages on the cycle track for the second time. Last year, also in London, Elena won the keirin.
In the overall standings of the Women’s Sprint League, the Ukrainian takes sixth place, Matilda Gro is in the lead. The final stage of the competition will be held in London on Saturday, December 3rd.
