The International Testing Agency (ITA) reported that the samples of Kozhakin and Taranenko were found to contain a banned substance. trimetazidine. Both Ukrainians were tested on October 27, 2022.
Kozhakin and Taranenko are suspended from participation in international and national competitions until the end of the investigation, which is being conducted by the ITA.
