Spurs sporting director Paratici is in trouble

Tottenham stopped negotiations with Atalanta on the transfer of the Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovsky. For the transition this winter, the London club was going to pay 16-18 million euros.

According to Il Giorno, the negotiations were actually disrupted due to the fact that the Turin prosecutor’s office launched an investigation into the activities of Tottenham’s sports director Fabio Paratici, who worked in the management of Juventus in 2010-2021.

The transfer of Malinovsky to Tottenham, most likely, will not take place.

Earlier it was reported that Tottenham is the main contender for Malinovsky. Spurs counted on the transfer of the Ukrainian for 15-18 million euros.

Ruslan is also Marseille’s priority target in the winter transfer window. In addition, other European clubs were interested in the services of the Ukrainian midfielder – West Ham, Nottingham Forest, Inter and Milan.

This season, the 29-year-old Ukrainian has played 14 matches for Atalanta, scoring one goal and scoring two assists.

The Bergamascos are in sixth place in the Serie A standings. Tottenham are in fourth place in the Premier League.
