England advance to France in the quarter-finals
England head coach Gareth Southgate commented victory over Senegal (3:0) in the 1/8 finals World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
“This is a step forward compared to what we have had so far. The team has accumulated a lot of experience over the past few years, they play confidently, and we look dangerous for any opponent.”

“France is the biggest challenge we can face. World champions, incredible squad depth, it’s very difficult for them to score goals. A fantastic challenge for us.”
Recall that England in the 1/8 finals of the 2022 World Cup defeated Senegal – 3: 0. Southgate will face France in the quarter-finals. The fight will take place on November 10th.
