The fight is scheduled to take place between February 18 and March 4.
Egis KlimasWBA/WBO/IBF/IBO title holder manager Oleksandr Usyksaid that negotiations for a fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion with the WBC champion Tyson Fury are nearing completion.
“We were negotiating even before the fight with [Чисорой]so they came to that fight. I spoke to Queensbury before and then we spoke to Top Rank [в четверг] morning during a conference call. We all got together, and almost finished, we have nothing more to discuss.”

In early December, Fury defeated Derek Chisora ahead of schedule and retained the WBC world heavyweight title. After the fight, Fury called Usyk to the ring, where the boxers had a duel of views.
The Usyk-Fury fight could take place in February or early March next year. The bout could be affected by an injury to the Briton. It is expected that Tyson will need 6-8 weeks to recover.
