swiss skier Nadine Fenrich won the sprint classic at the third stage of the World Cup in Beitostolen (Norway).

Fendrich finished the final run in 2 minutes 57.31 seconds. The second was the Norwegian Lotta Weng, the top 3 was closed by the Finnish Joanna Matintalo.

Among men in a similar discipline, the Frenchman Richard Jouve became the winner with a result of 2 minutes 36.37 seconds. Silver was won by Italian Simone Mocellini, bronze by Swedish Kalle Halfvarsson.

The five-time Olympic champion Johannes Klebo, absent from the stage due to illness, did not participate in the race.

The Beitostolene stage will end on December 11. Russian athletes are not allowed to compete under the auspices of the International Ski Federation (FIS) due to the situation in Ukraine.
