Ukrainian lost to Anna-Lena Friedsam from Germany
Ukrainian tennis player Angelina Kalinina didn’t make it to the final WTA 125 in French Angers.
As part of the 1/2 finals of the tournament, the Ukrainian lost to Anna-Lena Friedsam from Germany. The meeting lasted two hours and four minutes.
In the first set, the fate of the meeting was decided on a tiebreak, where Angelina gave her opponent four innings (6:8). The second game was also unsuccessful for Kalinina – the Ukrainian lost two of her serves and could not make more than one break.
Recall that in the first round Kalinina defeated Catherine Scott from the United States. Then the Ukrainian defeated another American Sophia Kenin, and in the quarterfinals Angelina beat Clara Tauson from Denmark.
